Great laptop,
This laptop was bought around 4 months ago and I really love it, the backlit keyboard is brilliant, and makes it so easy to type in the dark when or when the lighting is poor. The screen is reflective but that’s what allows it to show the great picture quality
I have had no problems at all so far, using it for everything from viewing video files to creating documents
If only my Internet was good enough to allow this to work to its potential it would be perfect

|Great PC, but watch out for IE 9!,
Although I’m not a techno genius, this company is a handy piece of kit. Firstly, the keyboard is well laid out and the back light function is a nice little touch that can be turned off if you don’t like it. One of the key reasons I like the PC is because there aren’t big gaps for dirt to get between the keys. Some PCs seem to have an open invitation for dirt and crumbs etc! There’s decent graphics (although I’m not a gamer so can’t specific say to what standard it would be for them). It’s a good all round, slightly heavy, computer with a good battery spec.
The main issue I have is with IE9. I could not get hotmail or certain pages running (even Vaio security updates), and the downloading wasn’t working either. Having spoken to my IT department It turns out that IE9 is full of faults and is basically pants. For a start, the pc is set up to run IE9 64-bit version, which I’m told is not a good idea because there’s no support for this when browsing the internet. If you find trouble with IE9, you can try going with Mozilla (or, heaven forbid, Google!) but you won’t be able to do it from the website because IE9 will not display the download button! I think you can find Mozilla in your control panel/programs section as I did it there. Hope that makes sense or you don’t come across the issues that I have had in this area.
It’s also slightly cheaper than the current listed price here to buy from the manufacturer online and comes with a 2 year gaurantee.
